Celebrating 74th Independence Day: A Tribute to Freedom and Unity

On the momentous occasion of India’s 74th Independence Day, NETCOM (A Group of Training Institutes) came together in a spirit of pride and patriotism at our Kumarpara office in Deomornoi, Darrang. The day was marked by the unfurling of the tricolor, a symbol of our nation’s resilience and unity, hoisted by Shri Bhaskar Deka, a distinguished social worker whose presence added grace and inspiration to the celebration.

The event was a heartfelt gathering of our dedicated office bearers, esteemed dignitaries, and community members, all united in honoring the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and recommitting to the values of equality, progress, and service. As the flag soared high, it reminded us of our shared responsibility to build a stronger, more inclusive Assam and nation.

At NETCOM, Independence Day is not just a celebration—it’s a call to action. It inspires us to empower lives through education, uplift communities through service, and nurture the dreams of every individual. Together, we stand proud, ready to contribute to a future where freedom and opportunity flourish for all.

Tree Plantation: Rooting for a Greener Tomorrow

Since time immemorial, trees have been silent guardians of life, weaving an intricate bond with all living beings. They nourish us with food, breathe fresh oxygen into our lives, offer shade from the sun’s glare, and stand as timeless symbols of resilience and growth. At NETCOM (A Group of Training Institutes), we recognize the profound role trees play in sustaining our planet and our communities.

In celebration of this vital connection, we launched a special tree plantation drive on the 74th Independence Day, intertwining our love for the nation with our commitment to the environment. Under the warm August sun, saplings were planted with hope and purpose, each one a promise of cleaner air, greener landscapes, and a brighter future for generations to come.

The program was graciously inaugurated by Mrs. Shikhamani Bora, Block Development Officer of Kalaigaon Development Block, whose presence added inspiration to the day. Together with our members, volunteers, and community, we took a step forward in nurturing the earth—a small act with roots that will grow deep and branches that will reach wide.

At NETCOM, tree plantation is more than an event; it’s a movement to honor our interdependence with nature and to build a legacy of sustainability. Join us as we continue to plant, protect, and prosper—together, we can cultivate a greener Assam and a thriving planet.

Awareness Meeting on Digital Education:

Digital education is one of the best learning methods that should be provided to every child. This is a great way for students to pay more attention to students because we are now in the digital age. I think schools should give online exams so that less paper will be used. Therefore, NETCOM (A Group of Training Institute) organized an awareness program this year as every year. There are many people who have participated and benefited from it.
